Manhattan Gold extends Jaws gold strike to 1.25km in Canada
Manhattan Gold Corporation Limited has reported significant assay results from its Jaws target at the Hook Lake Project in Nunavut, Canada. Recent drilling has extended the mineralised strike length to 1.25 kilometres.
One notable drillhole, JWS26012, delivered 21.34 metres at 1.72 grams per tonne gold from 32.0 metres. This intercept included a higher-grade zone of 4.57 metres at 4.89 grams per tonne gold, which contained a segment of 1.52 metres at 9.35 grams per tonne gold. The expansion now encompasses a 490-metre strike length of higher-grade gold mineralisation within the broader prospect.
In addition to the Jaws target, the company has completed maiden drilling at other regional targets within the Hook Lake Project, including the Spectre volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit, the orogenic gold targets Quantum and Lotus, and the Omega banded-iron formation (BIF) target. Ten drillholes are currently awaiting assay results.
