Maniago hosts 22nd edition of Coltello in Festa cutlery festival

The 22nd edition of Coltello in Festa has commenced in Maniago, Italy, transforming the town center into a showcase for the local blade-making district. Held on August 29 and 30, 2026, the event celebrates the region's long-standing tradition of cutlery and blacksmithing.

The festival features market exhibitions of Maniago cutlery and custom blades, alongside live demonstrations of forging and sharpening. The program includes guided tours of local manufacturing companies, skill challenges, and workshops for children, such as wooden sword making.

Chef Gloria Clama, a former MasterChef Italia finalist, serves as the event's godmother. The festivities also integrate gastronomy through showcooking sessions, wine tastings, and culinary paths in local restaurants that highlight cutting techniques and specialized tools.
