Manic Street Preachers announce ‘The Holy Bible Live’ album
Manic Street Preachers have announced the release of ‘The Holy Bible Live’, a live album documenting their 20th-anniversary tour of their 1994 album ‘The Holy Bible’. The release is scheduled for October 23, 2026, via Sony.
The album captures performances from the tour, including a notable show at London’s Roundhouse. It will be available in various formats, including a two-disc blue marble vinyl, a CD plus Blu-ray version, and a deluxe edition. The deluxe version will feature a new spatial audio mix of the original album by Steven Wilson and the director’s cut of the concert film ‘Be Pure - Be Vigilant - Behave’, filmed by Kieran Evans.
Lead singer James Dean Bradfield noted that the tour was a way to prove the band’s enduring strength and ability to perform such a difficult work. He also mentioned performing the Roundhouse shows while battling severe influenza. Band member Nicky Wire commented on the long process of returning to the songs, noting the physical and mental intensity required to perform the material.
