Manila International Book Fair 2026 to feature Swedish literature and author signings

The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) 2026 will feature diverse international literary contributions at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The Embassy of Sweden in Manila and Fully Booked Philippines have introduced the ‘Read Sweden’ booth, offering a selection of Swedish fiction, Nordic noir, and children’s literature. Featured authors include Fredrik Backman, Jonas Hassen Khemiri, David Lagercrantz, and Astrid Lindgren.

In addition to the Swedish exhibit, author and pastor Dr. Michael W. Wesley Sr. is scheduled for a book signing at the fair. Wesley will present four titles focused on faith, leadership, and personal growth, including ‘Everybody Deserves A Good Funeral’ and ‘So, You Want To Be Married?’. The event serves as a major hub for literacy and publishing, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually.
