Manipal Academy of Higher Education announces research job vacancies

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has announced several project-based job vacancies for 2026.

One opening is for a Research Assistant to work on a project involving the development of a LIBS-based method for determining the gross calorific value of coal. This role requires a Master’s degree in Photonics, Physics, or Applied Physics, with a monthly consolidated pay of INR 40,000. The initial engagement is for eight months.

Additionally, MAHE is recruiting for four positions: two Project Research Scientist I (Project Manager) roles and two Project Technical Support III roles. The Project Research Scientist I position offers Rs. 56,000 plus 10% HRA, while the Technical Support role offers Rs. 28,000 plus 10% HRA. Eligible candidates for these roles include those with post-graduate degrees in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, Biochemistry, or Public Health.
