Manipal Health Enterprises Ltd opened a book‑built IPO of Rs 9,275.22 crore on July 29, 2026, with the subscription window closing on July 31. The issue comprises a fresh issue of Rs 8,000 crore and an offer‑for‑sale of Rs 1,275.22 crore. Anchor investors contributed Rs 4,167 crore, with participants including Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Allianz Global Investors Fund, Morgan Stanley Asia, Natixis International Fund, Societe Generale, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Kotak Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, UTI Mutual Fund and HSBC Mutual Fund. The proceeds will finance the addition of roughly 3,000 new hospital beds, repay acquisition‑related borrowings, and fund the acquisition of the remaining minority stake in Sahyadri Hospitals. Manipal Health currently runs 49 hospitals with 13,037 licensed beds across 14 states and Union Territories, and plans to invest about INR 4,000 crore over the next four to five years to expand its footprint and reduce debt.
