Manipal Health to acquire Kinder Women’s Hospital for ₹130 crore

Manipal Health Enterprises has signed a Business Transfer Agreement to acquire the operations and assets of Kinder Women’s Hospital in Bengaluru for ₹130 crore in cash. The deal, signed with Kindorama Healthcare Private Limited, involves the acquisition of the hospital's business rather than its shares.

Located in the Doddanekundi area, Kinder Hospital has operated 100 beds since 2022 and reported operational revenue of approximately ₹20.75 crore for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. Manipal Health CEO Dilip Jose stated that the acquisition is intended to strengthen the company's presence in Bengaluru’s Whitefield micro-market and expand access to clinical expertise in the region.

The transaction is expected to close within 90 days, pending statutory and customary approvals. This move is part of a broader expansion strategy by Manipal Health ahead of a planned $1.1 billion IPO, following previous major acquisitions such as Sahyadri Hospitals and AMRI Hospitals.
