Manipur Chief Secretary reviews development schemes in Churachandpur

Manipur Chief Secretary Rajiv Singh Thakur visited Churachandpur district to review the progress of various government development programs and welfare schemes. During a meeting with district-level officials, discussions focused on health services, livelihood promotion, and the rehabilitation of internally displaced persons (IDPs).

Following the review, the Chief Secretary visited relief camps in Bethlehem and Lanwa TD Block to meet with displaced residents and address their concerns. Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar reported that the administration is conducting regular health camps and enrollment drives for the Ayushman Bharat and Chief Minister-Gi Hakhelgi Tengbang health card schemes.

Currently, 19 relief camps are operational in Churachandpur, housing 5,195 displaced individuals. Additionally, 10,214 non-camp beneficiaries are receiving support through direct benefit transfers.
