Manipur CM Yumnam Khemchand Singh launches eight digital land portals

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh inaugurated eight online land portals and the “LR Manipur” mobile application at Imphal’s Palace Compound. The new platforms – covering registration permission, land‑use change, land allotment, acquisition, GIS‑based village management, a single digital gateway, revenue‑court case management and online land‑revenue payment via Loucha Pathap – aim to digitise records dating back more than five decades, improve transparency and streamline services for citizens. Singh praised the Land Resources Department staff, especially Secretary Kiran Kumar Singh, for maintaining land records despite years of ethnic violence, and highlighted the role of digital technology in making government processes more accessible.
