Manisa grape harvest agricultural wages 2026 Hüseyin Altındağ

The Manisa Agricultural Chambers Coordination Board announced recommended wages for local agricultural workers during the 2026 grape harvest, effective from 10 August 2026. Daily rates vary by task, ranging from 1,450 TL to 1,600 TL, with an additional "dayıbaşı" allowance of 150 TL, bringing total pay up to 1,750 TL for cutters, pickers, basket carriers and bandırma pullers.

The board noted that transport fees will be left to negotiation between parties. The recommendations follow the provisions of Turkey’s Labor Law No. 4857 and assume an eight‑hour workday. The tariff was signed by board president Hüseyin Altındağ and is intended as a guideline for the entire harvest season.
