Manisa athlete Belinay Gündoğdu earns nine national medals in 2025‑26 season

Athlete Belinay Gündoğdu from Manisa captured a total of nine Turkish athletics medals during the 2025‑2026 season – four national titles, four runner‑up finishes and one third place. The achievements were honoured by Manisa Youth and Sports Provincial Director Yunus Öztürk, who met with Gündoğdu, her coach Bingül Laçin and her mother Muradiye Gündoğdu. Öztürk praised the athlete, saying, "Her four championships, four second‑places and one third‑place make us extremely proud and demonstrate the combined effort of the athlete, her coach and her family." He added that she will continue to represent Manisa and Turkey in national and international competitions and that the province will keep supporting emerging talent. Gündoğdu thanked the officials for their support and affirmed her commitment to further training and future successes.
