Manisa athletes secure national podium finishes in judo and volleyball

Athletes from Manisa have achieved notable success in national sports competitions in Turkey.

In the Anadolu Yıldızlar Ligi (ANALİG) Judo Turkey Championship Finals held in Muğla, the Manisa girls' mixed team secured three bronze medals. Rabia Beyza Özden (40 kg), Ecrin Nisa Baş (44 kg), and Bade Aydın (63 kg) each placed third in their respective categories. Manisa Youth and Sports Provincial Director Yunus Öztürk congratulated the athletes and coaches Mehmet Gülten and İsmail Canıtez for their achievements.

In volleyball, the Manisa Efeleri team secured second place in the Turkish championship. After an undefeated run through the group and semi-final stages, the team faced Kastamonu in the final, where they earned their first loss of the tournament. This marks the second consecutive season the team has reached the national finals. The squad included several athletes from the Akhisar District Sports Club, highlighting the success of local youth development programs.
