Turkey regional development: infrastructure and agricultural updates

Various regional development and environmental projects are underway across Turkey. In Didim, the Zeytin Park Project is nearing completion, aiming to create a social living space while preserving existing olive groves.

In Manisa, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has begun field studies across 17 districts to estimate the 2026 olive and olive oil yields, accounting for climate conditions and pest impacts. Meanwhile, in Ulukışla, the State Hydraulic Works is implementing flood prevention measures, including the construction of a 560-meter concrete channel and various water structures to protect residential and agricultural lands.

In Muğla, the Water and Sewerage Administration (MUSKİ) is installing 50-ton modular drinking water tanks in the Akyer and Göktepe neighborhoods of Menteşe to ensure uninterrupted water supply. Additionally, a natural cold-water geyser discovered during 1960s oil drilling in the Tuz Gölü basin near Ulukışla continues to attract interest for its unique hydrogeological processes.
