Manisa double murder solved via ballistic report

A ballistic report has solved the investigation into the deaths of İsa Acar, 56, and his wife Mümire Acar, 54, in the Yunusemre district of Manisa. The couple, who operated an auto body shop and had married only last year, were found dead in their home on September 26.

Investigators linked the murders to İlhan Ağlamazlar, 40, whose body was discovered the same day in a forest near the Küçük Sanayi Sitesi. A ballistic analysis conducted by the İzmir Criminal Laboratory confirmed that the handgun used by Ağlamazlar to commit suicide was the same weapon used to kill the Acar couple. Preliminary findings suggest the motive for the killings was a dispute over unpaid debts.
