Manisa installs elevator at Kuşlubahçe pedestrian overpass

The Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has installed a new elevator at the Kader Atabey pedestrian overpass in the Kuşlubahçe neighborhood. This infrastructure project aims to enhance accessibility and safety for various groups, particularly the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and families with strollers.

Mayor Besim Dutlulu stated that the service is intended to eliminate the difficulties citizens face when crossing streets, prioritizing public safety and comfort. Local officials and residents noted that the previous steep stairs posed significant risks, particularly for elderly citizens, and that the new elevator provides a more secure method for crossing.
