Manisa Kurtuluş Museum receives National Architecture Award

The Manisa Kurtuluş Museum has been awarded the Building Branch Award at the 20th National Architecture Exhibition and Awards, organized by the TMMOB Chamber of Architects.

A ceremony was held to celebrate the achievement, attended by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Besim Dutlulu, the museum's architect Ömer Selçuk Baz, and various municipal and architectural officials. During the event, a plaque symbolizing the award was symbolically fixed to the museum wall, and sketches and workbooks from the design process were displayed to visitors.

Mayor Besim Dutlulu noted that the project was initiated by former Mayor Cengiz Ergün and continued by the late Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek. He emphasized that the museum serves both as an aesthetic contribution to the city and as a vital historical record of Manisa's struggle for liberation, fires, and occupation for future generations.
