Manisa Metropolitan Municipality begins 6km road project

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has commenced a 6-kilometer asphalt road project in the Ayvacık neighborhood of the Şehzadeler district. The work involves applying a second layer of cold asphalt surface coating within the boundaries of Spil Mountain National Park.

Following the completion of foundation and compaction processes, crews from the Department of Science Affairs are working to finalize the double-layer coating. Local officials noted that the project aims to improve transportation comfort and mitigate the difficulties caused by harsh winter weather conditions in the Spil Mountain region.
