Manisa Metropolitan Municipality faces audit discrepancies

A 2025 audit report from the Court of Accounts has revealed significant discrepancies regarding the vehicle fleet of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. According to the report, 55 vehicles are officially registered to the municipality in the records of the Union of Notaries of Turkey, yet these vehicles do not appear in the municipality’s own internal inventory and asset records.

The findings were presented to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The report highlights a disconnect between official notary registrations and the municipality’s internal management of public assets.
