Manisa Metropolitan Municipality supports Köprübaşı fishermen

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has provided significant support to the Köprübaşı Fisheries Cooperative to bolster local fishing activities. The assistance includes the delivery of a cold storage facility and an ice machine, which aims to resolve long-standing logistical challenges for the cooperative. Previously, fishermen had to source ice from external providers.

In addition to the infrastructure, 55 local fishermen received equipment support, including net rope, fishing lines, weights, and floats. During the ceremony, Manisa Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu also announced plans to install solar panels for the cooperative. The program also marked the opening of the Borlu Observation Terrace, providing new amenities to the region.
