Manisa opens Gluten-Free Kitchen for celiac patients
A new Gluten-Free Kitchen has opened in Ulupark, Manisa, through a partnership between the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and the Celiac Organic Nutrition Association. The facility is designed to provide safe dining options for individuals with celiac disease and those following gluten-free diets.
The menu includes a variety of items such as toast, manti, pasta, pizza, baklava, and simit. To ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination, the facility maintains separate areas for production and sales.
Haşim Şivecan, President of the Celiac Organic Nutrition Association, noted that the center provides a much-needed space for celiac patients to eat safely and socialize. The project aims to address the difficulties patients face when dining out and serves as a social hub for families and children.
