Manisa region reports 15,358 job placements in first half of 2026
The Manisa Employment and Vocational Training Council held its ordinary meeting in July 2026, chaired by Governor Vahdettin Özkan and attended by Deputy Governor Mustafa Harputlu. The council presented employment figures for the January‑June period, noting that 15,358 individuals were placed in jobs across the public and private sectors.

Visits to 251 educational institutions provided career guidance to 5,993 students. Active‑labour programmes opened 332 slots, benefiting 5,166 participants, while on‑the‑job training programmes involved 122 courses and 1,052 trainees. Additional programmes included the Workforce Compatibility Program (2,684 beneficiaries) and the Community Benefit Programme (1,230 participants).
