Tragic deaths of minors reported in multiple Turkish provinces

Several tragic incidents involving minors have been reported across different regions in Turkey.

In Gaziantep’s Oğuzeli district, 17-year-old İbrahim Ataş, a Syrian national, died after being electrocuted while cleaning a well at a construction site. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine if negligence played a role in the fatal accident.

In Manisa’s Yunusemre district, 16-year-old İbrahim Karabaş drowned in the Kocadere stream while attempting to cool off during a break from work. Search and rescue teams located his body after a two-hour operation. A gendarmerie investigation is underway.

Additionally, in Bursa’s Osmangazi district, 15-year-old Ahmed Touto passed away at Bursa City Hospital after being struck by an electric current at a recycling warehouse. The owner of the facility has been taken into custody as police investigate the safety conditions and electrical installations of the site.
