Manish Malhotra returns to Lakmé Fashion Week 2026 in New Delhi

Lakmé Fashion Week 2026, held in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) at the Taj Palace in New Delhi, featured several major designer showcases.

Designer Manish Malhotra marked his return to the Lakmé runway after nearly three and a half years with his ‘Manish Malhotra Luxury Prêt 2026’ collection. Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan served as showstoppers for the event. Khurrana wore an embellished black jacket with silver-toned floral embroidery, while Ali Khan wore a black couture-inspired ensemble featuring a strapless bodice and metallic floral details. The collection introduced the Manish Malhotra Menswear Luxe Prêt line and focused on modern silhouettes, fluid drapes, and metallic palettes.

Other highlights of the week included Amit Aggarwal’s ‘5PM Glam Reset’ collection, which featured metallic pleating and was closed by Aneet Padda. The event also showcased regional craftsmanship through ‘The Fifth Season’ from Ladakh and featured international creative exchanges, such as the FDCI X Moscow Fashion Week.
