Investigators utilized cellphone location data, license plate readers, cameras, and messages to track the suspect's vehicle to Minnesota. The suspect was taken into custody by the Alexandria Police and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Officials noted that cross-border coordination was instrumental in resolving the incident safely.
