Manizales and Argentine Municipality Launch New Tax Discount Programs

The municipal Treasury of Manizales, Colombia, announced that only five days remain to claim a 2% early‑payment discount on municipal taxes through digital channels, and two days at ten physical service points across the city. Taxpayers can pay via the Línea Progreso, the municipal tax portal, or at designated locations such as the Sancancio and Cable Plaza malls.

In Argentina, a municipal authority extended its debt‑regularisation moratorium until 8 September 2026. The program provides up to a 60% discount on interest for cash payments and offers various installment plans with interest reductions ranging from 5% to 30%. Additional benefits include credit‑card promotions and reduced penalties for registration and inspection fees.

Both initiatives aim to encourage timely tax compliance by offering financial incentives and flexible payment options to local contributors.
