Manizales and Dosquebradas resume services following earthquake
Authorities in the region are resuming normal operations following an earthquake that occurred on August 10. In Manizales, the local government has lifted the curfew that was previously implemented as a preventive measure. Citizens are now permitted to move freely between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., though damage assessment and recovery efforts continue in various sectors.
In Dosquebradas, the Transit and Mobility Secretariat has reopened its physical offices at the Moretii building in the Milán neighborhood. After ten days of disruption caused by the earthquake, the office is providing continuous service from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for vehicle registration, driver's licenses, and other mobility-related procedures. Other municipal services, including the Personería Municipal and the Edos company, have also resumed operations at the same location.
