Manizales merchants relocate following earthquake damage

Forty merchants from the Parque Caldas shopping center have temporarily relocated their business operations to Parque Ernesto Gutiérrez. This move follows damage sustained by the shopping center during a recent earthquake.

The Manizales municipal administration is facilitating this temporary space to support economic recovery and assist affected business owners while necessary repairs and adjustments are made to the Parque Caldas facility. The relocated merchants are operating daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and local authorities are encouraging community support for these local businesses during the transition.
