Manjerico Portuguese Cosmetics opens new store at Freeport Lisboa

Manjerico Portuguese Cosmetics has opened its first physical retail space at the Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet in Alcochete, Portugal. The 100-square-meter store is dedicated exclusively to premium Portuguese cosmetics and perfumery.

Founded by Rui Curro and Pedro Madeira, the project aims to curate and promote national brands in a market often dominated by international competitors. The store features a selection of 15 Portuguese brands, ranging from established names to emerging niche labels. Featured brands include Ach Brito, Castelbel, Portus Cale, Leme, Antiga Barbearia do Bairro, D’Aveia, Água da Madeira, BamandBoo, Scenting, Essências de Portugal, Aqua dos Açores, Catarina Barbosa Skincare, Algarve Candles & Co., Yntenzo, and Aurum Ouhd.

The founders chose the Freeport outlet to capitalize on international interest in Portuguese culture and to showcase local products to tourists. The product range covers various price points, with perfumes starting around €40 to €45 and reaching up to €235 for exclusive items.
