Mannai Corporation appoints Sumanta Roy as Group President for ICT

Mannai Corporation QPSC has appointed Sumanta Roy as Group President for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Roy, a veteran with over 30 years of industry experience, will lead the company’s ICT business across the Middle East and Africa.

Based in Riyadh, Roy is tasked with driving regional expansion, with a specific strategic focus on Saudi Arabia through Mannai Information Technology Saudi Arabia. His mandate includes expanding the company’s portfolio in high-growth sectors such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, digital transformation, intelligent infrastructure, and managed services.

Prior to this role, Roy served as President and Regional Head for the Middle East and Africa at Tata Consultancy Services. Mannai Group CEO Alekh Grewal noted that Roy’s expertise will be vital as the company seeks to strengthen its leadership in Qatar and accelerate ambitions in the wider region.
