Manne Mosten: Entrepreneur and cultural figure in Östersund

Manne Mosten, a prominent figure in Östersund, was known for his diverse contributions to the local culture, gastronomy, and entrepreneurship in the Jämtland region.

Mosten's career spanned various creative and business ventures, including the creation of Larvenklubben and the production of 'Mannes moj' sausage carts. He later managed a café in Odenskog, focusing on local artisanal sausages and mountain milk soft serve.

His later work centered on culinary experiences through Kulitur, which combined Jämtland's gastronomy with history and culture. In 2018, he realized his vision of creating a community hub in central Östersund by establishing the restaurant Norra Station and the art gallery Lux. He was also actively involved in community organizations such as Matakademien and the Jämtland County Art Association.
