Mannkvern to release debut album ‘The Harlot’s Wake’ via Wormholedeath

Norwegian black metal band Mannkvern has signed with Wormholedeath to release their debut album, ‘The Harlot’s Wake’. The album is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026, with physical editions expected in early 2027.

Founded by Orkana V, the project evolved from a solo studio endeavor into a full band following her relocation from Norway to Poland. The upcoming album features seven tracks spanning over 40 minutes, exploring themes of theological and psychological decay through lyrical references to the New Testament, Dostoevsky, and Orwell.

To preview the record, the band has released the single ‘The Former Things Have Passed Away’. The debut will also include guest appearances from various artists, including Raum, Embor, Hellgrave, and Maurice Wilson. Mannkvern is currently finalizing a live lineup with plans to perform starting in 2027.
