Manny Rutinel voted for DSA-backed policies 99% of the time

Manny Rutinel, the Democratic nominee for Colorado’s Eighth District and a former state representative, has a voting record that shows high alignment with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). According to statistics from the Colorado State Assembly, Rutinel voted in favor of DSA-backed legislation 263 out of 265 times, representing a 99.2 percent approval rate for those policies.

Rutinel received an endorsement from the Northern Colorado Democratic Socialists of America. Additionally, archived blog posts attributed to Rutinel have shown him advocating for socialism. The NRCC has criticized Rutinel, describing him as a radical liberal whose policies would increase costs and impact the lives of Coloradans.
