Mano BŪSTAS conducts preventive maintenance in Klaipėda

To prevent potential water damage and significant financial losses, the company ‘Mano BŪSTAS’ is launching large-scale preventive maintenance works. Specialists will inspect and clean the rainwater collection inlets of approximately 300 apartment buildings in Klaipėda.

Accumulated autumn debris, such as leaves, branches, trash, and old bird nests, can clog roof drains. This blockage prevents proper water runoff, leading to water accumulation that can seep through non-watertight areas into building structures and private apartments. Vidas Balbuckis, head of the ‘Mano BŪSTAS’ maintenance group, noted that such leaks can cause severe damage to ceilings, walls, floors, and furniture, with losses reaching thousands of euros.
