Mano Machinek killed in Italy car crash during filming
Austrian reality‑TV personality Mano Machinek, 37, died after his Porsche left the road and struck trees near Gignese in northern Italy. The accident occurred while he was filming a commercial for the car brand. Machinek, known from the Austrian show “Forsthaus Rampensau”, also worked as an engineer and model and lived in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. The Austrian broadcaster ATV confirmed his death on Instagram and expressed condolences to his partner, former “Temptation Island” contestant Maria Maksimovic. Maksimovic posted emotional messages on social media, describing Machinek as “the love of her life” and thanking fans for their support. Emergency services, including a rescue helicopter, arrived quickly but could not revive him. Italian authorities are reviewing whether proper filming permits were in place.
