Manoel Sousa defeats Richie Miranda at UFC Vegas 120

Manoel Sousa secured a unanimous decision victory over Richie Miranda at UFC Vegas 120. The win improves Sousa's UFC record to 2-0 and extends his overall winning streak to four fights.

After a difficult first round where Miranda secured a takedown and controlled Sousa with ground-and-pound, Sousa shifted the momentum in the second round. Sousa utilized heavy leg kicks to damage Miranda, eventually dropping him with a combination of leg kicks and a body shot.

In the final round, Sousa maintained pressure by continuing to attack Miranda's legs and utilizing cage work. All three judges scored the bout 29-28 in favor of Sousa. The defeat marks a disappointing promotional debut for Miranda, the former LFA lightweight champion.
