Manoj Muntashir pledges support for BJP and criticizes cultural censorship

Lyricist Manoj Muntashir has expressed his lifelong support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing the construction of the Shri Ram Mandir, the revocation of Article 370, and the abolition of Triple Talaq as decisive achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure.

Addressing the Youth Dharma Sansad in Ujjain, Muntashir also criticized the historical restriction of the national song, ‘Vande Mataram’. He questioned the decision made during the era of Jawaharlal Nehru to limit the song to two stanzas, arguing against the censorship of Indian culture. He urged the youth to remain connected to their cultural roots and emphasized the importance of preserving national identity and family structures.
