Manoj Tiwari calls for harsh penalty for Pappu Yadav's disrespect

On 2 August, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that Pappu Yadav’s act of wearing saffron clothing and placing a picture of Lord Rama inside the Parliament precinct was an insult to Sanatan Dharma and should attract the toughest punishment.

Tiwari also praised the Delhi government’s Lakshmi scheme for women, criticised Arvind Kejriwal’s comments on E‑20 fuel, and backed national‑security adviser Ajit Doval’s remarks on freedom, framing the protest as an abuse of free expression.
