Manon Relandeau disappearance: Neighbors maintain farm in Loire-Atlantique
Six months after the disappearance of Manon Relandeau, a young mother and farmer in Loire-Atlantique, local neighbors and fellow farmers are working together to maintain her agricultural estate. The group of seven farmers is caring for her livestock, which includes 46 cows and 23 horses, to ensure her life's work does not vanish.
Investigators suspect a femicide involving Relandeau's partner, who fled to Algeria with their 21-month-old daughter, Inaya, shortly after the disappearance was reported in March. The man was intercepted by Algerian authorities under an international arrest warrant and has been charged with murder and kidnapping, though he maintains his innocence. The child is currently being cared for by her paternal grandmother in Algeria.
