West Ham United's bid for Manor Solomon stalls as club eyes other targets

West Ham United have been in negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur to sign left‑winger Manor Solomon, but financial disagreements have halted progress. Reports indicate the London club was prepared to pay around £5 million but would not accept promotion‑related clauses, leading to a pause in talks.

Solomon, 27, was a key figure in Leeds United’s Championship‑winning campaign last season before moving to Spurs. While West Ham continue to monitor his availability, they have also been linked with several alternative options, including Simon Adingra, Ruben Vargas, Sorba Thomas and a potential loan for Sunderland’s player. Additionally, Ghana international midfielder Kwasi Sibo, a free agent after leaving Real Oviedo, has been presented to the club as a cost‑effective midfield reinforcement.

Other clubs such as Hull City and Serie A side Fiorentina have shown interest in Solomon, but West Ham remain focused on strengthening their squad ahead of the 2026‑27 season.
