Mansa Studios and Macro Television Studios partner for vertical series

Mansa Studios, co-founded by David Oyelowo and Nate Parker, has entered into a partnership with Macro Television Studios to develop, finance, and produce various vertical series. Under the agreement, both companies will collaborate on the development, marketing, and promotion of these projects while sharing ownership of the resulting intellectual property.

Macro founder and CEO Charles D. King noted that the partnership aims to combine Mansa’s expertise in the emerging vertical format with Macro’s capabilities across multiple genres. Mansa Studios currently distributes film, television, and short-form content through its own free ad-supported streaming service and FAST channels. Oyelowo stated that the move is intended to embrace evolving viewing habits and reach a global audience through new formats and platforms.
