Mansoura District launches cleaning campaigns in Aden

Local authorities and community leaders in the Mansoura district of Aden have launched cleaning campaigns to address long-standing waste accumulation and environmental issues. In Block 5, Hani Mohammed Al-Yazidi, Director General of Mansoura, supervised a large-scale operation by the Cleaning and City Improvement Fund to remove accumulated refuse and clean streets and alleys.

Al-Yazidi emphasized that these efforts must move beyond temporary fixes toward sustainable solutions, including the rehabilitation of sewage networks to prevent overflows. He called for continued cooperation between the local authority and community committees to maintain cleanliness.

In a separate community initiative in the Technology City area of Mansoura, Captain Sheikh Imad Al-Diwani led efforts to remove waste and mitigate environmental pollution. Local residents and community members have called on the Governor of Aden and district officials to intensify field efforts, provide more waste containers, and establish regular cleaning schedules to combat the health risks posed by accumulated trash and pests.
