Mansoura National University launches Industry and Academic Creativity Forum 2026

Mansoura National University has launched the ‘Industry and Academic Creativity Forum 2026’ at its Innovation Complex. Held on August 19 and 20, 2026, the event aims to strengthen partnerships between academic research and industrial needs under the theme ‘Together, we turn challenges into opportunities.’

The forum includes academic leaders, executive officials, and industry experts. Major attendees include Dakahlia Governor Tarek Marzouk and the university’s Board of Trustees Chairman, former Minister of Higher Education Sayed Ahmed Abdel Khalek.

Governor Marzouk highlighted the forum's role in addressing local industrial challenges, specifically noting the existence of 27 struggling factories in the nearby industrial zone. He called for integrated efforts between the university, executive authorities, and the industrial community to find practical solutions to restart these facilities. Dr. Abdel Khalek emphasized that scientific research must serve industry by diagnosing real-world problems and providing applied scientific solutions.
