Manta to host cover competition honoring Riccardo Cocciante and Claudio Baglioni

The municipality of Manta, in collaboration with the Anima Festival, is organizing a cover song competition titled ‘Aspettando Riccardo e Claudio’. Scheduled for September 1 at Cascina Aia, the event features ten contestants performing songs by Italian music icons Riccardo Cocciante and Claudio Baglioni.

As a collateral event to the Anima Festival in Cervere, the competition offers participants the chance to win tickets to concerts at the Anfiteatro dell’Anima. Manta Mayor Ivana Casale noted that the technical standard of the applicants has exceeded expectations. The performances will be evaluated by two official juries, including a technical jury composed of industry professionals.
