Mantova completes squad revolution amid strong Serie B start
Mantova's sporting director, Fabio Brutti, has reviewed the club's summer transfer window, describing it as a nearly complete revolution. The club has seen approximately 20 incoming players through various acquisitions and loans, including Vlahovic, Tomasevic, and Chinetti, while 12 players have departed. Brutti noted that the primary goal was to find functional players for manager Modesto's technical project and to rejuvenate the squad.
On the pitch, Mantova is currently performing strongly, sharing the top of the league standings. This success is reflected in rising attendance figures at the Martelli stadium. The club's current average attendance of 8,667 has already surpassed the averages of the previous two seasons. With 5,790 season tickets sold—the second-highest in the club's history—there is a push to reach the 10,000 spectator milestone in upcoming home matches.
