Mantova implements new cultural, urban, and housing initiatives
The city of Mantova is implementing several local initiatives focused on cultural heritage, urban revitalization, and housing support.
To celebrate ten years of the ‘Vie dei Tesori’ festival, nine historical sites across the city and province will open to the public. This includes Villa Galvagnina in Moglia, which is reopening following restoration work to showcase its decorated rooms, such as the ‘Sala dei dodici giganti’.
In urban development, the Santagnese10 space has been renovated through a project funded by the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Mantova. The facility, managed by Pantacon, is designed as a coworking, study, and conference hub specifically aimed at providing quality spaces for young people.
Additionally, the ‘Abitare Mantova’ project has been launched by the Sol. Co. Mantova consortium and a network of social cooperatives. The initiative establishes seven agency points across the province to map vacant housing and connect residents with available properties, addressing the housing needs of young families and vulnerable individuals.
