Mantova prepares for Sampdoria match with player updates and traffic restrictions

Preparations are underway for the Mantova vs. Sampdoria Serie B match scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Stadio Danilo Martelli.

Regarding team rosters, Mantova is monitoring the fitness of Fabio Depaoli, who is dealing with ankle pain but may still be available. Players Kevin Mbabu and Yann Karamoh are undergoing athletic rehabilitation; while some reports suggest they might join the squad to integrate with the team, others indicate they may not be ready until after the international break. Salvatore Esposito and Bjorn Meijer are expected to return later, following the break in Avellino.

In response to the match, the Mantova Local Police have issued significant traffic and parking restrictions to ensure public order. From 13:00 to 20:00, several areas including Via Luzio and Viale Te will be closed. Specific zones such as Piazzale di Porta Cerese, Piazzale Mozzarelli, and Viale Isonzo will be inaccessible. Additionally, forced removal of parked vehicles will be enforced in various streets and squares surrounding the stadium throughout the day.
