Mantova secures captain Simone Trimboli with contract extension until 2029

Mantova has officially secured the long-term future of their captain, Simone Trimboli, by signing a contract extension that runs until June 30, 2029. The agreement follows a period of uncertainty during the summer transfer window regarding the midfielder's future.

Trimboli, born in 2002, joined Mantova from Sampdoria in the summer of 2023. Since his arrival, he has become a central figure in the club's project, contributing significantly to their promotion from Serie C. The renewal was finalized following negotiations between sporting director Fabio Brutti and the player's agent.

Despite a recent minor muscle injury that sidelined him for several matches, the 24-year-old midfielder is expected to return to action soon. The extension ensures that the club retains one of its most consistent performers and leaders for the coming seasons.
