Mantova to host conference on the impact of gambling on families

A conference titled ‘I giocati – Le famiglie, vittime collaterali del gioco d’azzardo’ (The Played – Families, collateral victims of gambling) is scheduled for October 27 at the Museo Diocesano in Mantova. The event aims to address the relational, economic, and psychological consequences of gambling addiction on family members, who often face isolation and a lack of support tools.

Part of the ‘Scommetto su di te!’ project, the initiative is promoted by Mondo Nuovo APS, Associazione And, and the Tavolo No Slot of Mantova, in collaboration with Caritas Diocesana, ASST Mantova, and the Mantova Municipality Social Services Department. The program will feature testimonies and technical analyses from psychologists, social workers, and sector experts to highlight local support strategies and resources available for families.
