Manu Francis and Prince Noble win Asian Games sailing silver

Malayali athletes Manu Francis and Prince Noble Kurishingal were welcomed at Nedumbassery Airport in Kerala following their silver medal win in the sailing skiff category at the Asian Games.

The duo secured the silver medal with 23 net points across nine races. During the final day, the athletes faced significant challenges, including strong winds caused by a cyclone, minor errors, and technical issues with their boat, which briefly dropped them to fourth place. However, a strong performance in the final race allowed them to reclaim second place.

Prince Noble noted the high level of competition, which included two Olympians and a World Cup winner. The athletes expressed pride in their achievement and encouraged others to take up the sport of sailing.
