Manu Koné nears return to AS Roma amid transfer interest

AS Roma midfielder Manu Koné is approaching a return to action following a muscle injury sustained during a Champions League match against Real Madrid on October 14. The French midfielder suffered a grade-1 tear to his right hamstring, which forced his substitution after 17 minutes of play.

Medical staff are monitoring his recovery to ensure he can return without further risk. His availability is expected between November 3 and November 7, a window that includes a Champions League fixture against Manchester United and a league match against Sassuolo. His absence has required rotation options such as De Roon and Niccolò Pisilli.

In addition to his recovery, Koné is reportedly attracting interest from major European clubs. Bayern Munich is said to be tracking the midfielder closely, while Liverpool has previously shown interest in the 25-year-old.
